Murphy Lurks in the Shadows

We carry a large inventory of spare parts aboard Cream Puff. The previous owner included bags of goodies when we purchased her. We have continued to add to the inventory. Each time something breaks, we replace it and add a couple of extras into inventory. This was much easier to do when we had jobs. Now we have no income, we find it a little harder to spend the money on something we don’t need right away. But deep down inside we both know, we have to buy an extra because this is the ONLY way to ensure it’ll never break again.

The real key to stop something from ever breaking on a boat is to have an identical replacement part. You see, Murphy doesn’t work randomly. This is Murphy’s flow chart thought process.
